I know lots of people that are very lazy, super rich, doing boring stuff that is not hard. Most people go after the hard stuff. They try and fix something or do some big monumental thing. And yet, the richest people I know do the most boring, lazy things. Sometimes the laziest is actually the most profitable.

Yeah, you heard that right.

I mean no offense by that, saying you’re lazy. I’m not trying to offend you. In fact, the former richest man on earth, Bill Gates, said:

“I choose a lazy person to do the hard job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”

I think that’s brilliant.

I get why you might think it’s not even possible. We’ve been conditioned to believe that making money has to be hard. We’re taught it from a very young age: you gotta work hard and for long—and then oftentimes, it never pays out.

And with the hustle and grind culture where people say you gotta work from 4 in the morning till whenever… yeah, it’s crazy.

But what if I told you there’s a whole corner of the internet where people are making money using content that already exists?

Tools that do the work for you and strategies that require almost no original input.

“Good artists copy. Great artists steal.”

Steal my homework. Steal this work. There are real, proven ways people are monetizing content using what’s called PLR.

What Is PLR and How Does It Work?

I’ve talked about this before.

There are people—like Kim Kardashian—she slapped her name on shapewear called Skims. And yet when you look at it, it’s basically Spanx. They almost look the same.

Private Label Rights (PLR). That’s how I originally became a multimillionaire. I got a contract from a manufacturer, had exclusives, and was able to sell it.

I paired it with simple platforms like Etsy, Amazon, KDP, Gumroad, and Shopify.

If you don’t know what PLR is, let me just break it down.

PLR is basically pre-written, pre-designed, or pre-recorded content that you can legally take, edit, rebrand, and sell as your own.

That means ebooks, courses, digital planners, workout guides, recipes, affirmations—you name it.

So imagine this. Instead of writing a 30-page ebook from scratch—you could use a PLR version that’s already written. Slap your name on it, add a cover, tweak a few pages—and boom, you’re selling a product that could bring in passive income for years.

PLR saves all that time.

How Big Brands Already Do This

Michael Jordan doesn’t make any shoes. He slaps his name on a shoe someone else builds, designs, and manufactures—and he makes $400 million a year.

You don’t need to be a writer, designer, or creative genius. You just need to know how to package and post.

You’ve seen it done for years. You already know more than you think.

Where Can You Sell PLR Content?

Take Etsy for example. It’s not just a place to buy handmade jewelry and candles.

It’s become a hub for digital downloads.

I’ve seen journal templates, wedding checklists, startup guides, and even digital coloring books selling like hotcakes.

All of this can be done with PLR material.

List it once. It keeps working for you:

• While you sleep

• While you eat

• While you argue with your spouse

You can even upload ebooks to Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and let Amazon do the rest—printing, packaging, and delivery.

And then you collect royalties.

There are entire YouTube channels dedicated to teaching this.

Amazon pays me. Barnes & Noble pays me. Even Kindle pays me—every single month.

Customize PLR with Tools You Already Use

Use tools like Canva and ChatGPT to customize your products.

If you want to become an influencer or an authority—write five books using PLR, put your name on them, register on Google as an author—and boom. Instant credibility.

Turn PLR Into a Service Business

There are people making money as virtual assistants just by managing social media pages using pre-written content.

You can even go to Fiverr and Upwork, find clients who need help posting on Instagram, and use pre-made content calendars and templates.

All you do is copy, paste, and schedule.

Some folks are charging thousands of dollars a month for this.

Email Marketing Is Still Hot

Nobody likes writing emails—so they pay others to do it.

Some people grab swipe files (pre-written email sequences) and resell them.

Get inspired by big brands, rewrite their email sequences a little, and resell them.

With just a little editing and layout work, you offer a valuable service without even becoming a professional copywriter.

Templates and Dashboards: Low Effort, High Reward

People are flipping Notion templates and dashboards. I’ve paid $1,300 a year for Notion. I’ve bought templates myself.

Take a free template, tweak it, and relist it on Etsy or Gumroad.

I’ve seen people making full-time incomes just selling Notion dashboards.

The Economy Is Changing. Fast.

According to McKinsey, over 50% of jobs could disappear in the next five years. 80% of us could be displaced.

And tariffs aren’t helping—245% today, thanks to Trump.

That’s why now is the time to secure your financial future.

Most People Won’t Take Action. Will You?

Most people never follow through. They hear about PLR and never upload a single product.

Only 1% actually take action.

They win.

Create an Instagram or TikTok around a niche—like motivational quotes or fitness tips.

Use royalty-free videos, overlay viral quotes or PLR content, schedule them, and monetize with affiliate links.

Online Courses Without Filming Yourself

You don’t have to film yourself or create slides.

There are PLR video courses already made—on digital marketing, crypto, self-help, and more.

I pay affiliates to sell my courses and products. You can literally resell what I already built.

Use Teachable or Podia, upload your content, and start selling.

Add your voice or video later if you want. But you can launch your first course today.

Don’t Worry About Feeling Like You’re Cheating

Yeah, it feels like cheating. But it’s not.

You’re playing smart, not hard.

Big brands rebrand and white-label products all the time.

This is just the solo entrepreneur version of that.

Add your twist, your voice, your story. Make it feel like you. But even if you don’t, the value is still there.

People pay for convenience, not always novelty.

The Power of Copy and Paste: Scalable, Flexible, Profitable

One of my favorite things about copy-paste businesses is scalability.

You’re not limited to one product or niche. You can:

• Create bundles

• Upsell

• Add memberships

• Cross-sell

• Repackage anything

Once you learn how to do it, you can keep earning while building your next thing.

Become better, and you’ll earn more. That’s the key.
